Bring MRKT into Claude
Connect your MRKT account once, and Claude can pull live market sentiment, the economic calendar, headlines, event playbooks and US equity data straight into any conversation — using your own subscription and your own watchlist.

Setup
Four steps, about two minutes
Open Claude's connector settings
In the Claude desktop app or on claude.ai, go to Settings, then Connectors, then add a custom connector. The wording shifts between Claude releases — look for Connectors, and an option to add your own.
Paste the MRKT Connect address
Claude asks for a name and a URL. Name it anything you like, and paste the server address below. Leave every other field blank: there is no API key, client ID or secret to enter anywhere.
Sign in to MRKT
Claude opens MRKT's own sign-in window. Use the account you already have — email and password, Google, or Apple. Claude never sees your password. If you are already signed in to MRKT in that browser, this step passes by on its own.
Review and approve
MRKT shows you what is being connected: the application asking, your MRKT account, and the address your data would be sent to. Read those three lines, then choose Allow access. You will see this screen on every fresh connection — there is no 'remember me', deliberately.
To check it worked, start a new chat and ask something only MRKT can answer — try “what’s on the economic calendar today, and what does MRKT think about gold right now?”

Nineteen MRKT tools become available to Claude. You never name them — ask in plain English and Claude picks.
MRKT's own analysis
Day sentiment per asset with direction and conviction, target and pullback levels, structural support and resistance, and the ranked factors behind the call — including what would flip it.

News and the calendar
Search headlines by keyword, asset, tag or impact. The economic calendar forward and back, event playbooks with above/on/below scenarios, and the events most likely to move a given asset.

US equities
Company snapshots with KPIs, margins, analyst ratings and price targets. Earnings dates and beat/miss history, insider and congressional trades, market movers, and natural-language screens.

- “Find profitable software companies growing revenue over 15%”
Claude also picks up six ready-made MRKT workflows — a morning prep, event prep, a “why did it move?” breakdown, a release recap, a watchlist check and a full asset briefing.
Limits
What you get each day
Usage is metered in credits over a rolling 24 hours. Different questions cost different amounts, because they cost MRKT different amounts to answer — a headline search is cheap, an equity screen reaches across dozens of data calls.
An MRKT subscription includes enough for a real daily workflow: a morning briefing, several asset deep-dives and a screen or two, every day. The window rolls hourly rather than at midnight, so capacity returns gradually instead of locking you out until tomorrow. Ask Claude how much you have left at any time.
Permissions
What Claude can and cannot do
- Reads, never writes
- Every MRKT tool is read-only. Nothing Claude does can change your account, watchlist, billing or data.
- Never sees your password
- You sign in on MRKT’s own page. Claude receives a token that works only against MRKT Connect, only for your account, and nowhere else.
- Your data reaches Anthropic
- Anything you ask, and anything MRKT returns, passes through Claude under Anthropic’s terms — the same as any other Claude conversation. See our privacy policy.

If something goes wrong
Which Claude apps does this work with?
The Claude desktop app for Mac and Windows, and claude.ai in a browser. Both work identically and connect to the same address.
Do I need anything beyond a MRKT subscription?
An active MRKT subscription and a verified email address on your account — the same requirements the MRKT app has. MRKT Connect uses exactly the same paywall, so it is never a looser door into your data than the product itself.
It says my account is in private beta
MRKT Connect is being switched on account by account while it rolls out. Everything else about your account is fine — email support@mrktedge.ai and we will enable it.
It says no MRKT account is linked to this token
You signed in with an email that has no MRKT account, most often a personal Google account rather than the address you subscribed with. Remove the connector, add it again, and sign in with your MRKT address.
It says my connection has expired or been revoked
The connection was ended — by you, by a MRKT admin, or after a long gap in use. Remove the connector in Claude and add it again to reconnect.
It says this client is not approved
You are connecting from a Claude client we have not approved yet. Use the desktop app or claude.ai. If you need a different client, tell us which one.
Claude says MRKT is still computing something
Not an error. The first time anyone asks about a rarely-traded symbol, MRKT generates the analysis from scratch, which takes about a minute. Ask again shortly and it will be there.
How do I disconnect?
Remove the MRKT connector in Claude's connector settings. That revokes access on MRKT's side at the same time, so nothing further can be read. Adding it again later takes you back through sign-in and approval.
