Questions
Is the Trump Tracker free?
Yes. The live schedule, Trump headlines, the headline risk score and the activity history are free, with no account required.
Where do the Trump headlines come from?
They are headlines mentioning Trump as they cross MRKT's live newswire feed, each with MRKT's AI read of what it could mean for markets.
Where does the schedule come from, and how often does it update?
From the White House's published schedule and press pool reports, collected by Factba.se (Roll Call). This page refreshes every couple of minutes. The next day's schedule is usually published the evening before, and pool reports fill in real times as the day goes on.
What does “on camera” mean, and why do traders care?
Press or cameras are in the room: remarks, press conferences, Q&A, or a spray with reporters. Those are the moments unscripted comments on tariffs, the Fed or China tend to come from, so they are worth knowing about ahead of time.
How is the headline risk score calculated?
From the schedule alone. On-camera remarks, signings and meetings with foreign leaders add points, market topics in an event's title (tariffs, China, the Fed, trade) add more, and foreign travel adds a flat amount. It measures how many chances there are for a headline that day. It is not a forecast of what markets will do.
What times are shown?
Your local time, detected from your browser. You can switch the schedule to Eastern Time (ET), the White House's own clock.
